Follow-up of Previously Issued Recommendations

This follow-up report looks at the implementation status of 57 recommendations from six reports issued in 2021 and 2023.

As at September 30, 2025, 25 of the 57 recommendations (44%) have been reported as implemented. Of the remaining recommendations, management reported that:

31 (54%) were in progress.
One will not be implemented.

The report also provides information on longer‑term implementation trends. Of the 297 recommendations issued between 2018 and 2021 that have completed the follow‑up cycle, 39% were implemented or resolved after four years.

The Auditor General typically conducts an initial follow‑up two years after a report is released, with subsequent follow‑ups scheduled as needed.
